NGX Storage

NGX Storage is a European enterprise storage vendor founded in 2015.

The company develops both its software and hardware in-house through its own R&D centers, and its solutions are deployed in hundreds of production environments, including banks, telecommunications providers, public sector organizations, and research institutions.

At the core of the portfolio is a unified storage architecture that delivers block, file, and object access from a single platform, supporting FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB, and S3 protocols. NGX Storage also leverages a cache-centric design, where most I/O operations are served directly from the DRAM layer, ensuring consistently high performance.

The portfolio includes all-flash NVMe arrays, hybrid storage systems, the ExaScale scale-out platform for AI workloads, HyperIO object storage, a flexible Storage-as-a-Service offering, and AI-driven predictive analytics through AIOps.

All products are developed and manufactured in Europe, making NGX Storage an attractive choice for organizations with strict requirements around data sovereignty and supply chain security. The company collaborates with leading technology partners, including Intel, NVIDIA, Veeam, VMware, and Kioxia.

NGX Storage continues to grow organically while expanding its presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

NGX Storage products in Connect Distribution:

NGX All-Flash Array

NGX All-Flash Array is an enterprise-class all-flash storage system designed for workloads that require low and predictable latency. The platform delivers over 10 million IOPS per rack with sub-millisecond response times, while providing simultaneous block, file, and object access (FC up to 64 Gb, Ethernet up to 200 Gb; iSCSI, NFS, SMB, S3). Supported media include SAS SSDs, NVMe TLC and QLC drives, as well as Storage Class Memory (SCM), enabling configurations tailored to both performance requirements and budget. Inline deduplication and compression, thin provisioning, and TRIM/UNMAP support maximize storage efficiency. The architecture is fully redundant across controllers, power supplies, cooling systems, and interfaces, while replication and MetroScale clustering ensure business continuity between sites. The system is Veeam Ready certified.
Typical use cases include databases and transaction processing systems, virtualization and VDI environments, analytics platforms, and AI workloads requiring 24/7 availability.

NGX Hybrid Storage

NGX Hybrid Storage is a hybrid storage array built on a cache-centric architecture that combines DRAM, flash storage, and hard disk drives. Its DRAM layer, scalable up to 8 TB, handles nearly 95% of operations, while Random Flash Sequential Disk technology directs sequential writes to HDDs and random operations to flash media. This enables all-flash-like performance at a storage cost comparable to traditional spinning disks. The system simultaneously supports FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB, and S3 protocols without additional licensing restrictions. Its self-healing RAID architecture can tolerate the failure of up to three drives within a RAID group, while both capacity and performance can be expanded without downtime. Built-in cloud-based predictive analytics continuously monitors system health and performance.
Typical use cases include consolidating mixed workloads such as virtualization, file services, backup repositories, data warehouses, and video surveillance environments, where rapid data growth does not justify an all-flash investment across the entire infrastructure.

NGX ExaScale

NGX ExaScale is a scale-out storage platform built on an end-to-end NVMe architecture with support for NVMe over TCP and NVMe over RDMA. The system scales linearly from a small initial deployment to 30 nodes and 80 PB of usable capacity while maintaining sub-millisecond latency. Its symmetric distributed architecture, combined with intelligent data sharding, ensures predictable performance regardless of scale, while three-way replication provides strong data consistency and protection. The platform supports multi-tenancy with resource allocation and API-driven management. Capacity expansions, software updates, and maintenance operations can be performed without service interruption. The software-defined approach eliminates dependence on rigid hardware configurations and allows organizations to scale infrastructure according to evolving requirements.
Typical use cases include AI model training and inference, big data analytics, high-performance computing (HPC), and cloud-native applications deployed in enterprise data centers, service provider environments, and research institutions.

NGX HyperIO

NGX HyperIO is an enterprise-class S3-compatible object storage platform based on a distributed scale-out architecture. The system scales to up to 255 nodes by simply adding new units, without downtime or lengthy rebalancing processes. A single bucket can store up to 100 billion objects, with a maximum object size of 16 TiB. Data durability is ensured through distributed erasure coding, complemented by multi-site geographic replication, automated self-healing mechanisms, and continuous integrity verification. High-density nodes support between 24 and 60 drives and can be configured with NVMe/SAS flash media or cost-efficient NL-SAS drives, depending on workload requirements. Native S3 Tables accelerate analytical queries against data lakes by up to ten times. The platform is Veeam Ready certified and supports immutable storage for enhanced ransomware protection.
Typical use cases include ransomware-resilient backup repositories, data lakes, AI/ML pipelines, long-term archives, and large-scale unstructured data repositories maintained in on-premises environments.
